One of Us is Lying – book review

Overall, I really liked this book, even though it had a few disappointments.

If it were a movie, I would rate it PG13 for brief language, some sexual content and suggestive comments.

But here lately I have gotten into mystery/thrillers and this one was really good and suspenseful. Every turn of the next page brought a new question and different suspects.

The writing was neatly worded and made it that much better to read, so coodoe’s to the author for that.

It was a really good read and definitely one I would recommend to anyone who’s ready for a case to crack.

Sorry for the short post/review!
All the best,

RULES:1. Thank the person who nominated you and add a link to their blog

  1. Answer the ten questions asked on this post

  2. Nominate at least five people to do it also
4. Let your nominees know you nominated them

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP THREE BOOK PET PEEVES?

  1. It drives me insane when book one is a cliff hangar and book two is by a totally different persons POV and has nothing to do or doesn’t even mention the first book.

  2. I guess my second thing would be lots of bad language. I try to stay as far away from cursing as I can simply because I don’t like it, and it’s never good to become too comfortable with it.

  3. Third would definitely be inappropriate intimate scenes. It’s hard finding books without them these days so I normally just skip over them and continue reading. It makes me mad that people think you have to have language and romance scenes for it to be a good book!

DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT READING SPOT

Hhmm, probably my bed or the couch. I read a lot on the couch when I first wake up, but a lot on my bed when I go to bed, and they’re both really comfy.

TELL US THREE BOOK CONFESSIONS

  1. I read the second series of Percy Jackson before I read the first. …oops?

  2. I have several books on my shelf that I’ve had forever but haven’t even started reading.

  3. I turned one of my books into a black out poem journal.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED DURING A BOOK?

I don’t remember the exact time but the book was Planet Urth: TheUnderground City.

HOW MANY BOOKS ARE ON YOUR BEDSIDE TABLE?

Just one right now, the one I’m currently reading.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SNACK TO EAT WHILE READING?

most definitely fruit loops.

NAME THREE BOOKS YOU WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE

  1. Percy Jackson by Rick Rioridan, the mind jackers series by Susan Kaye Quinn, and Unenchanted by Chanda Hahn
