So when I was checking my email this morning, the first one I clicked on was the one from K-LOVE. I love reading them, because they brighten up my day in so many ways! K-LOVE sends you a Bible verse everyday to encourage you with whatever you might be going through, even if it’s simply waking up on the wrong side of the bed! And somehow, every single verse fits into my life. Somehow. I read mine today and felt like I needed to share it.
“Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.” -James 1:19
Everyone will probably get a different message out of it, but what’s important is what it means to you. We all have our ups and downs in life, don’t we? And sometimes we don’t want to tell people our problems because we’re afraid of what they’ll think of us, or that telling them would be a waste of our time and a waste of theirs. But when you feel that way, like you absolutely can’t tell anyone for whatever reason, you can. God is always there for you, and will never judge you for anything. And yes, we’re not perfect. No one is. We all have our flaws, but our flaws are what make us human, what make us unique. And He loves you for them. And if you’ll let Him, He’ll be your best friend.
I saw this quote, and it really got to me so I’d like to share it also.
“Father, thank you for my health, my family, my friends, and my home. Many people don’t have these things.”
Stay positive you guys, you’re much more fortunate than you know!
Every rainy day has a rainbow at the end 🙂
